Useful phases to answer the phone

To be verb

When we talk about TO BE VERB  I always tell to my students that it is the open gate of learning english, because we see this subject in almost all other grammar subjects we treat of. 

It's important to know how to talk about this subject because they see this in school and it's your job as a teacher make that more interesting for your student. So I always try to explain in different ways and you need to find yours.*

Above you see a board with the to be forms, and I always say to my students that is easy find a way to connect the subject with your everyday life. I say always One person Is, Two or more people Are and the Am case will be easier , of course. 

It's important highlight that they need to look to all the phrase then answer. 

Anyway the important point here teach this subject carefully!!! **

*Quando falamos de VERBO TO BE eu sempre digo aos meus alunos que é a porta aberta pata aprender Inglês , porque vemos este assunto em quase todos os outros assuntos que tratamos de gramática . 

É importante saber como falar sobre este assunto , porque eles vêem isso na escola e é o seu trabalho como um professor tornar o assunto mais interessante para o aluno . Então, eu sempre tentar explicar de maneiras diferentes e você precisa encontrar o seu modo de fazer isso. 

**Acima você vê um quadro com as formas do VERBO TO BE , e eu sempre digo aos meus alunos que é mais fácil encontrar uma maneira de conectar o assunto com sua vida cotidiana. Digo que uma pessoa usamos o IS , duas ou mais pessoas ARE e o caso Am será mais fácil , é claro.

É importante destacar que eles precisam olhar para toda a frase e depois responder. 

De qualquer forma o ponto importante aqui é ensinar o assunto com cuidado !!!

Workshop as a alternative to learn

About two weeks ago I brought to one of my classes a person to talk about the experience of exchange programs. He did a one year of exchange in Norway and visit a lot of places in Europe and he talk about with the students. The importance of this was that he talk in English so he pit the students in contact with the language. 

A mais ou menos duas semanas atrás eu trouxe uma pessoa para uma das minhas turmas para falar da experiência do intercâmbio. Ele fez um ano de intercâmbio  na Noroega e visitou muitos lugares na Europa, ele falou sobre isso com os estudantes. O importante foi que ele falou em inglês com os alunos o que proporcionou pra eles o contato com o idioma.

It's importante work with a lot of things with your students, when you decide to do this with a comunicative metod you need to have a lot of ideas in mind, and of course not all the ideas can work with all classes. Here I show you some of the ideas I have to work the abilities of my students.

* In the first picture you see a card with a holiday that students made. This is important to encourage them to write without fear to be wrong. 

*In the second picture you see one student talking to her colleagues about the card that she made. This work the speaking part and give the students a chance to show what can they do.

*In the third picture you see a class of mine working in the computers because I always like to combine the things. They were doing a work about countríes witch work all the abilities they need to work.
